by accident I bought the 45 Paid Killer / Hot Nite In Dallas by Moon Martin today. Both sides are great and I play them in a loop the whole day. The songs are taken from the album Shots From A Cold Nightmare (1978, Capitol Records).
Is the whole album worth having or are these the only good song on it? Anything else worth having?

I run hot and cold on him, myself. The one album I have is 1979's Escape From Domination, which is a pretty good slice of American pub-rock. "Rolene" was a staple on album-rock radio for years.

On the other hand, I used to have the Mystery Ticket album, which is totally forgettable.
