I was just about to start a thread asking what we, as a group, could do.

Here's my thought. Click that link above and donate something. You don't have to say how much you donated. 5 dollars... 50... whatever. Then respond here. Lets see if we can get 100. I'll be donating something as soon as the kids go to bed.

    Just a note.

If anyone is donating to the Japanese Red Cross. You must enter in Yen.

I've donated through work, but I'll also be using the link above as soon as I get home tonight.

I'm suppose to be going to Japan in a month. Wish there was more that I could do besides just give some cash.

  • please do donate! people up north need all the help they can get as both food and power supplies are compounding an already dire situation!

I'm sure most of us have organizations that we regularly donate to.
I stopped donating to the American Red Cross many years ago.

Here are 2 groups I regularly support.

    http://www.mercycorps.org/

I am sending a check to Mercy Corps.
Just noticed there is also a small link to Mercy Corps on the Google page Raj posted.

Well, obviously I could just sell records and send money, but I thought what was done on this site for Haiti was a really cool way to encourage more people to donate more money for relief. I'm not sure how much was raised, but it was a lot.
