    Yes. My uncle has been working on making zebrafish bioluminesce for years, but some dude from Singapore patented "the idea" (even though he did zero work behind it) and therefore has the licensing rights to sell bioluminescent fish in pet stores. This happens all the time, but one would think a big company like Apple would be more on the ball than that.

    Why would Microsoft sell it? They will make more keeping it, not just Apple has to pay them, from what I understand.
