Some Hip Hop albums have better beats than rhymes, or better rhymes than beats...
Can you name a record that has one of those?

I disagree.
+1 Disagree
havent listened to this for a while so it might be just what i can remember, but i never really got into most of the beats on this album.
the beats might have been okay for some one else, i just never thought they suited Percee P
bonus beat
I have said it before, this was an interesting concept, but imo the beats were corny and poorly put together.
Disagree.
guess i would have to disagree on this one, sure some of his content was a little wishy washy, but his delivery/flows and timing were at a level that you very seldomly hear, and its just my opinion, but give me great musical flows over technical and deep any day.
any Nas album not named "Illmatic" / "It was written" edge raps
this album hqas great beats and rhymes.
?????
U might prefer one over the other, but to place this album in the same category as Group Home is crazy.
Seriously. Masta Ace is the most underrated Juice Crew member. I'd put the beats and rhymes on par???as both excellent.
Word. They should have released this as a patchouli-scented spoken word album.
I think the beats on How We Roll and Get Retarted are good.
