hi folks. i've been killing a bunch of time lately restoring a 1979 Honda CB 750 (yeah, I know the old SOHC models are more collectro oriented, but this thing was free, so I'll take it.) Haven't taken any pics yet, but I'm curious to see what you ladies and gents are riding.

plaese to post some photos of the bikes (not scooters or peds, sorry) that you strutters ride or wrench on. thanks.

i'm assuming you don't currently own all of them, but probably still have quite a few, right? (b/w: where in the world do you keep them all?) You work @ a shop in SD, right?

that suzuki is similar in era to my first bike ever at the age of 13, although I was riding the kid model compared to that (not my photo-- mine was beat and the piston seized on me, but hey, it's how i learned how to take apart engines)

those early mono-shock off road bikes are great with the big tubular/triangular trailing arms, etc.

i'm also helping a friend piece together a '69 CL 350 Scrambler from a parts bike and a couple engines-- I love projects like that where you get to see all the nutty things people have changed/modified in the past to keep something running (eg thread savers in spark plug bosses and some DIY looking valve seals with random rubber and twisted bailing wire)

the MEX-CAN trek sounds awesome. I don't know if i can hang w/ 2k in 5 days though.
