    thanks for this frank
great to see some new stuff being discovered

  • Thank you Frank, for continuing to share your amazing discoveries.

  • I'll be listening soon!

I have 2 questions, if I may, Frank.

The first, I see on your blog, it says you have a dj date in Baltimore on May 21st. Is that this this year, 2011?

And second, do you sell wax that you find over in the motherland anywhere online? Probably not, but just figured I'd ask.

Yes, this year, Saturday May 21st I'll be in Baltimore.
I don't think the promoter has decided on a venue yet but the date is confirmed.

I don't sell anywhere online but feel free to PM a wantlist.

Ahh, that's great. I live like an hour from B-More in PA. I'll have my eye on the date and hopefully I'll be able to catch you spin.

    And thanks, I will do!

    It's Ghanaian.
45 by a band named Adam's Apple, they used to be the house band at the Tip Toe Club in Accra.

Hey, great to hear you were in Mechelen... that was one of the craziest and most fun parties I ever had!

  • Hey Frank, really nice batch of tunes.
I admit that I have never been much into this sound, always a little
too lo-fi and noodly for my tastes, but with this particular mix I think
    you may have converted me.
Time to take a re-listen to my copy of the Uhuru Dance Band LP I
have for sale, maybe I was too hasty!

    Great selection, thanx!
