hi tokio strutters , i will be in tokio from jan 14th til feb 13th and could bring european records if anybody is interested.
from common to super-rare.
would also be nice to go digging with somebody or just hang out and enjoy a beer.

    You'd get better money for the on eBay thesedays. Japan been payin' booty prices for records lately... unless you target specific stores you'd be outta luck with those big pieces... would be a lot of legwork and haggling, and they'd probably just want to trade...

    Japan is good for picking up the stuff you mentioned, because of foreigners bringing it over there thinking they are going to clean up, and end up selling it cheap so they don't want to bring it home.

    Your best bet is to bring cheap records out there and get loot for them, as opposed to big records and getting less than what they are worth. Japan pays about 30%-40% of what they sell for as a rough indicator.

    So something like Hanged man would sell on the shelf for 5-6,000 yen, so you'd get about 2-3,000 for it....

    would still be nice to meet some record heads.

    you'll have a blast. strutters plainstone and mattb are the ones to contact out there for sure. super nice blokes. bring a few records to trade 'em, nice pieces, they've got some good trade bait and are fun to hang with. enjoy yourself.

    i used to live there, and go back about twice or more a year...
