i traded it for 500 dollars in records to a fellow stutter, i wish i had known it went for 1000s when i traded would have had more leverage. the cover was kind of tattered so alls well. i have it on mp3 if people need it let me know and i'll log on soulseek (i don't have all the cuts on there, I skipped the ballads). it's pretty dope but the sound quality is very low. the version of popcorn is
the record is dope. one was unearthed for pennies and exchanged at the austin show in October. it was showcased in a hotel listening party and it sounded quite nice. not $1000 nice but nothing really sounds that nice to me.

you are partying too much in austin wasn't that at the last show in April ?
$400 nice (as i recall)
i thought we heard some santana covers when played (maybe on the soap side)
It's amazing people remember what I pay for records
Yeah I found it... in a store even Pretty wild. The funny thing was I had mp3s of it playing that day in the car. Dig the rawness & the unusual vocals... esp the cover of "smiling faces" & "hell below".
Exact words of clerk: "there's probably some good samples on it." (for some reason he has the impression I'm only after funky things, which isn't remotely true. Like just this weekend I was there and bought a dollar college record that has a side-long early avant-garde electronic track, and he's like "yeah, now THIS could be funky!" me: "???")

thanks
A Strutter found one for $8 a while back. You should hold out for it at that price.
Good luck.
Drew, have you heard it? There's some covers on there and one (or 2 I can't remember) is Curtis' "If There's A Hell Below".
Yeah, you actually sent me a couple of tracks off there, shit was extra
My memory's going in my old age.

But worth it in this case
I've got $500 ready to go if anybody on here has a copy in nice condition.
F'real.
YES. I'm over MP3's. Need something tangible that will look good on my wall.
For real.
Minus the "look good on my wall" part.
That shit is FALSETTOLICIOUS
But I still stand by the fact that while it's playing on the 1 and 2, the sleeve will be sitting on my bobvilla wall of shame.
Beef curtains o' roasted proshuto drapes.
Dude, i'm moving on to drink #3 this Friday post-vacation evening.
