This is the best I know of.....1979 out of Shreveport, Louisiana.......... would love to hear others.

    I can't really think of any. Maybe some of Rory Gallagher's stuff.

    When I first heard TL back in the 70s I thought they sounded like Lynyrd Skynyrd with a better singer, but after hearing more of their material that sort of faded away.

    This reminds me of Thin Lizzy
    the fucking am "taking liberties"(vocals are more like budgie, but very lizzy in sound and song)

    this track from the latest - 2010 - album from The Sword (Austin, TX) totally reminds me of Thin Lizzy ... so much so that every time I played it on the radio I felt compelled to mention it:
