This is some edit I made recently. One of the heaviest beats on Amiga I knew so far but with a terrible hook, that's taking way too much space. Free DL if you feel it.
Superbe. Always good to discover new Amiga tracks, didn't know about this one. Many thanks!

Nice! I play your remixes/edits/originals quite often at my weekly and they always get a great response. Keep 'em coming, please!
P.S. As great as it is on its' own, I keep thinking a Whiskey Barons' edit/remix of Justin Timberlake's "Let The Groove Get In" would be super dope. Just sayin'...
Right now nobody is really touching you for edits that remain true to the essence of the original records.
I generally dj for 4/5 hours at a time and can have a dancefloor at any point during that period, i have had to make an exception to my "don't play too many tunes/edits by the same person" rule for your edits.
thanks so much man! glad to hear when people notice the painstaking work that goes into keeping it natural and organic but dance floor ready - the snares in this lil hog took some serious finessing for example.
thank you Herm and Don too! I'll have to give that JT a closer listen.
Word on the WB edits I sent Johnny Hammond Smith's widow to their soundcloud page to hear that Shifting Gears edit...she loved it wish she would have tapped yall to edit some of his unreleased stuff
It's strange the things that get grabbed like that - not the thing of all my work I would have thought to see on pitchfork. we just did another one for Cultures of Soul that I think is a lot stronger. cool to see it though!

Very lazy, I never have any respect for anybody who plays out re-edits.
Get your skills up & rock doubles, it's that simple.
Yeah right. (BTW how old are you?)
ahaha
I am 43 years old.
^ *doesn't know what re-edits are*
I can't wait to get to my gig tonight and rock doubles of that two bar break in the middle of 'Peaches & Prunes' for 5 minutes...

The Tumbao EP especially goes well around this part.
We've got a new 4 song 12" of edits / remixes coming out soon on BSTRD Boots:
Actually, here is a set of all of our free remixes / edits. Hip hop, afro-disco, latin joints...pretty wide range:
Does anyone have a wav or MP3 of the Marvin Gaye - Funk Me extended edit??
