I've been lurking a while, but now that I've started posting I feel like a creep standing an awkward distance away trying to butt into friendly conversation, so I thought I'd throw out this intro post.
I'm Tim. From the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, studying Romance Languages and Literature (French and Spanish focus) at the University of Michigan. Things I like: soul and garage 45s, bebop, womp womp dubstep that sounds more like funky heavy noise than music, all other interesting music, French New Wave cinema, academia, 50s/60s paperback artwork, big breakfasts, disposable cameras, funky ties, rolling tobacco and rum. Things I don't like: fratstars, bad table manners, ranch dressing, Alzheimer's.
And I dig this place, very much appreciate the knowledge dropped for little dudes comme moi, so if you's guys are cool with me sticking around occasionally making comments and drunk posting, I'd be eternally grateful.
b/w at the dudes who do Ann Arbor Soul Club, rad job, I come by pretty often. If you guys are ever looking for an afterparty and don't mind kicking it with younger folk, let me know.
