Also, the first fire that was at "The Block" is our strip club district (for lack of a better term). Strippers were running out of the clubs buck naked, no joke. It was pretty insane.
the first building hit was a theater once owned by a friend's family, and the second housed a frequent lunch spot 2 blocks from my office. two 5-alarm fires in 12 hours -- crazy, sad, scary.
