What's a sane amount to pay for this?What would marcofunk do?Should I worry about "the price curve" and "the bid butterfly effect"? Will someone's child go hungry if I pay "too much" for a record?

    I would go a little higher than anthony say 120. (that doesn't mean you're going to win those two that are up there right now).

    here are the last four I have tracked

    206
    119.39
    104
    96

    the 206 was funkyou so it doesn't really count.
    i would say 120 you got a pretty good shot of winning. 100 maybe for the one in germany since it might be lowered because there is another one up.

    Thank you for your informed and detailed analysis, dave. 75-120 seems like a good range to me.

    But what of the curve? Will it ever be the same after that 206?

    If you can get it for a $100, then grab it. I don'tknow if I'd go much more than that. It's really a two-tracker (IMHO) and provided, "On the Hill" is really great but in that case, try to cop the 45. (It's not that cheap either but it's not $100).

    The copy I am/was eyeing is already up to $116. Can you confirm that it's a two-tracker?

    Yeah, I would call it a strong two-tracker. 'St Louis Breakdown' is definitely where it's at for me.
