blue note differences??????? HELP!!

blue note experts.....what are the different ways to tell the pressing date of your record?how can i tell if it's mono, first pressing, second pressing, etc....

    AP hit it good! Blue Note was around so long with so many different pressings you really need to get a book or two and look up a specific record. The internet will have some references.

    tell us which record you got and we might be able to help you out

    Some things it depends on are the original year of the record, label variations, address variations, deep grooves and runoff etchings/stampings. But yeah hard to give specifics without knowing what album.

    right, and mono is 4185 .. stereo 84185. also look for rudy van gelder in the runoff wax nahhhmn
