I'm probably missing something here but surely promoting abstinence after having a kid is sort of having your cake and eating it? Do what I say not what I do etc etc?
Right now, millions of Dancing with the Stars viewers are furious that Bristol Palin has made it to the finals, but the daughter of right-wing politician Sarah Palin isn't apologizing for it. She is, however, apologizing for profane comments she and sister Willow made in defence of their mother's new reality-TV show, Sarah Palin's Alaska.
Well, kind of.
The unfortunate situation began, not surprisingly, on Facebook. On Sunday, a boy named Tre (reportedly one of Willow's high-school classmates) updated his status to say, "Sarah Palin's Alaska is failing so hard right now."
Willow immediately went on the (grammatical-error-laden) attack. "Haha your so gay," the 16-year-old wrote back. "I have no idea who you are, but what I've seen pictures of, your disgusting. . . . My sister had a kid and is still hot. . . . Tre stfu. Your such a faggot."
Soon, Bristol had joined in, adding: "You're running your mouth to talk s---." (At least Bristol's grammar is better than her sister's.)
Once the media got wind of the exchange, though, Bristol quickly made a public apology. But, in true Palin fashion, she didn't apologize for the content of the offensive comments; she just regrets voicing their opinions.
"Willow and I shouldn't have reacted to negative comments about our family. We apologize," Bristol wrote on her Facebook wall.
Taking another lesson from her mother, Bristol also used the opportunity for some self-promotion.
"On a nicer note, thank you for supporting the great competition in Dancing with the Stars!"

I agree with Breez that the Situation and his TV persona are ironically fitting for this PSA, but for every message the Palins out out there's a homophobic Facebook tirade to strip the campaign of any integrity.
this PSA is a disaster: the convoluted message, the horrible dialogue, hell, even the camerawork and audio. what is this Candies org and why can't they hire a decent producer?
