    Just an out of the blue phone call. guy worked for a distributor in the mid 60s-70s. didn't really expect it at all. sometimes the stars align. no real crazy tale. he only had about 1000 records so to find that much good shit in there. pleasant surprise. I'm gonna do a Latin auction. keep some. open to offers on some soul stuff. interesting trades. etc.

    for an older white dude who was listening to shitty jazz when i was there on a Smooth Jazz TV channel he sure did pull awesome stuff. his soul and latin was crazy. no rock at all. that Beatles was from another haul yesterday with a lot of common rock stuff. dunno how it found its way in there but its sealed. too bad DJuckic doesnt consign any more :(

    and it is funny because you know how you have dreams about records some times (you know you do). it wasn't really a dream but i have been picturing the Ambassadors LP in my head for a while now and it was seriously the 4th record i flipped through. that was the indication it was either gonna be awful or amazing.

    Yeah, I got into that same Latin collection after that dude had already picked through it. He got most of the obvious stuff, but I was shocked at the shit he left behind! :beerbang:

    I believe fellow strutteur Shitzr got first crack at it and pulled a mint Sabu OG LP amongst other heatrocks.
