You know, sometimes when you go to a garage sale or dig through a private sale, there are those boxes full of classical music.
The other day i visited one of those sales, and i couldn't stop thinking there must be rares in those boxes too.
Anyone got knowledge about this stuff? I mean, what labels, conductors etc. are worth picking up?

    The lion's share of classical raers are on Euro labels and were performed by Euro orchestras and musicians.
    Classical collectors want their items sealed or better.
    There are American pressings of shit like Starker and and Heifetz, but it's not worth rueing/regretting/thinking about, cuz it most likely ain't gonna be in a garage sale.

    Mostly no, he was possibly the biggest selling, most prolific conductor of all time. There are exceptions, of course, but 99% of his records are under $10.

    Cop any NM versions of the Bach cello suites or violin sonatas.
