anybody have recommendations on which reissue labels do things right?
i have a concept for a local and now defunct label compilation (mostly funk/boogie stuff, some early hiphop) and wonder who would be worth talking to...any help is appreciated.
it's very important that if this ever comes to fruition that the original artists get their due...most of these guys are still in the trenches doing wedding / corporate gigs and have gotten a few tough breaks from the music industry.
