One that just came on the iPhone that made me think of this thread: X-Clan "Verbs Of Power". Never knew what that shit was.
While we're at it what's the main loop of X-Clan's 'Verbal Milk'? Not the New Birth 'Honey Bee' part.
It's a 45RPM 12-inch that they sampled at 33RPM. I did this little edit at 33RPM so you can blend "Impeach the President" with it, then go into "Verbal Milk."

disco strikes again and again.... disco circus by martin circus.
Thank you! I always figured it was a Euro-disco thing but had no idea it was that. Definitely not a record I would have expected Necro to be sampling back then.
I have always wondered what the 1st part of the bassline is on this, NOT the B.T. Express part with the guitar but the other part of it. And what are the drums? I've heard them used in other songs such as....
havent heard the j rocc drop but its got to be one step beyond by madness.
i thought the fairplay drums were programmed by nellee hooper and then lifted straight for whatcha sayin?
It's been 15+ years since I listened to the record and I no longer have a copy so I can't check, but I think it's from Jimmy Owens's "No Escaping It" LP:
m**tin, that dalto record. def. worth tracking down. "time for some changes" is my joint. i'll rip it when i manage to find where the hell i filed it..

I may as well give it a shot - anyone know what Diamond D samples here? Could never figure out what it was, but my money's on some 70's prog-rock shit.

I thought it was from Dave & Ansil Collins but didn't hear it last time I listened to their album. Anyone know where it's from?

OK, I don't know if I would call this classic, but I'd like to know what Buckwild sampled for Street Smartz "Problemz"?
I have a feeling this is something super obvious that I might even have on the shelf already :red:
That's a nice mellow jam right there.
Thanks,
Dress
Can anyone drop some knowledge on my ass?
Damn I love this track.

THAT AIN'T NO GOD DAMN SAX, THASS SOME FAGGIDTY ASS WEATHER REPORT SHIT.
but that intro is that weather report. i remember finding it in 96 and thinking it was genius.
ps. your text game is so soft.
T-Ray chopped the hell out of the intro to "Batuki" by Buster Williams. It's on here:

It's not a sample, it's Anton Pukshansky on bass. He engineered a lot of classics and played on some, too:
