turntable dust cover

do you use yours?? i do occasionally when i'm listening, but usually i've got that thing hinged wide open. when i'm not listening it's usually closed. i have a friend whose is ALWAYS down. only open to flip or change the record.

what do you do?

    Always down, except when flipping or changing.
