yo man anyone following this shit goin on in Maryland right now....i been following it for about an hour and a half now on CNN...

    I have a friend who works as one of the members in their Communications Department. I'm thankful she wasn't in the building that day. I'm even more thankful that it didn't escalate to something even more severe. Georgia Avenue from Colesville Road on down was basically shut down.

    a couple of years ago this very same dude ran full page ads in the local free daily paper (Wash Post puts it out) trying to build hype for a protest of the Discovery Channel. He included excerpts of his "manifesto" and basically made the same argument that that crazy website makes. Anyway, it was kind of a local joke for several weeks until the day of the actual "protest" which consisted of him standing out in front of the Discovery Channel building with a few other protesters (later we found out that Lee paid them to protest with him) and a few dozen people mocking him. That ended with him getting arrested for throwing money in the air or something like that.

    So yeah. Never thought I would hear about this dude again.

    Glad no one got hurt. I know a bunch of people that work there.

    I don't see how anyone can label him left or right-wing. He was just anti-human. I understand how overpopulation is a concern in many parts of the world and food isn't distributed in a way that every family can have some form of meal in front of them, but to say that we should stop having kids altogether is downright absurd.
