reggae heads, learn me on this light of saba lp

I just grabbed Light of Saba's "Sababe" lp from a local record store for 4 bucks, its the OG jamaican pressing. Discogs is a bitch on my phone, but I gathered that this is a rare/expensive piece.

How much does this joint fetch? Not that I'm selling

And anyone have background on these guys? They're connected with cedric brooks?

    From popsike, looks like it is $100-$150.

    Cedric Brooks was a member of Light of Saba, that's about as much as I know. A lot of Light of Saba stuff was reissued about five years ago.

    Great LP!

    There is a reish out there so make sure yours is OG.

    I pulled a $10 copy last year and it has since been hard-filed. Quite positive mine is an OG, and here's what the label looks like:



    "TUFF GONG" is etched into the deadwax.

    Just checked mine, it has the tuff gong etching, it's most def not the reissue. Thanks for that info.

    I'd imagine their other stuff is quite hard to find as well. I'd love to find more out in the field someday.
