This stuff is kinda like the Pandora's box of sports videogames -- to be able to rock legitimate classic squads. Seems like all these games have this to some extent but it's pretty limited. I want an online database of any team you could possibly want to roll with.
I have been a fairly loyal NBA Live dude but I hear that you can continue to update rosters of teams after the end of the season with the 2K games, granted they may be user-updated squads. But that's the only reason I typically buy the new editions of each game, for the current squad. Can anyone confirm this? NBA Live cuts you off after the end of the year. So I can't do Lebron's Heat with NBA Live 10.

Take away 2 and add The Dream/Houston and Barkley/Phoenix.

Yeah playing against Earl Monroe, DR.J, Wes Unseld,Kareem, Dominique. Their Legend roster was sick.
that's what i meant earl the pearl and darryl dawkins
and they had found the perfect balance between street moves and arcade not too over the top (quadruple alleyoop honey dip related in the newer streets series)
"The video game series always gets love but this year it looks as if Mr. Jordan himself has signed on to license his likeness meaning that you can now access his ENTIRE catalog of signature sneakers. As game play would have it over 40 Jordan Brand sneakers will be available once you unlock the hidden sneakers by scoring points."
Looks so good. NBA2K writing another chapter in the annuls of sports videogames. What do you do when there is a lockout and possible no season at all? You make it all about the classics! They had me at Bill Cartwright's quirky-ass delivery. I didn't play the last game as much because I just wasn't that good at it, which is actually a testament to the game. Still, probably have to buy this one anyway.
Im a little concerned because i like to play an 82 game season.
With half a season or no season at all, there will be no Roster Updates or Player Progression.
Im not going to commit to trying win a Championship with stagnant NBA player pool.
And how long am i going to play with the Legendary teams?
The teams on last years games were composed of mostly the starting 5 w/ a couple of bench dudes.
How could they not have Vinnie "The Microwave" Johnson on the Pistons teams? WTF?
They have to have the entire fucking roster or I'm not committing.
All the teams on 2K12 ive already played with in some other title since Lakers Vs Celtics.
Even the 60's teams were available on another title, so its not that big of deal for me.
Im excited but the lockout could really turn this game into a strictly Legends Game which is shakey ground IMO.
