Visually it was really incredible.
But it could have ended about 30-40 minutes earlier and really dragged on towards the end.
And dont let the synopsis leave out this important detail, the movie has a running theme about the main character who has a rather strong (euphamism for possible lust) relationship with his sister that flirts with the topic of incest.
I still think its worth watching though.

I am glad you managed to get something out of it.
cosine on opening credits. and i hadnt heard that LFO track in a while.
the more i think about the film, the less i cared about the story itself - i.e. plot, dialogue, acting, etc
repeating myself a bit i guess, it looked seductive presenting a (skewed) portrait of of a city i've never been to.
