Verdict : not amazing but not tepid at all. Dude's actually back to sounding engaged and writing songs again.
Overall very mid 80's sounding which is a good thing.

    Its an enjoyable album. Not going to be remembered amongst his best works or anything but far better than the gruesome, blood spraying partial birth abortion that was the last album he inflicted upon the world
