he has just been dropped by his agency William Morris over this. that's actually a really big deal because no one will want to be the scab that picks him up for representation after that. he seems like a miserable asshole and not even danny glover can save him now.

Even if he never laid a hand on her - at this point he hardly deserves custody. F*ck his career, we'll all be OK without another Gibson movie. This fool cannot provide a stable healthy home for a child.

  • Oksana: What kind of a man is that? Hitting a woman when she???s holding a child in her hands? Breaking her teeth twice in the face! What kind of man is that?

Mel: Oh, you???re all angry now! You know what, you f* cking deserved it!

    Game, Set, Match.

    move over ike turner.

The best thing that ever happened to this guy was making all that FU money with the Passion. He's been on a drinking and hating bender ever since. I ride for crazy anti-Semites with unlimited capital.

I suspect Mel's been a fully paid-up citizen of Toytown since long before he met this latest flame.

The raw uncut for those who want to hear it, although half of it has been posted above. Basically, dude is fucked in the game. Even Miller Gold wouldn't touch him now.

    Doubt his career s over.

All he has to do is say he has a problem.
    Go in to rehap.
    State he is rehabilitated.

    Good as new.

Here's a guy threatening to kill the mother of his kid on tape, and in all likelihood he will skate after the appropriate period of penitence and rehab. Now I haven't seen the papers for a few days, so I don't know how much prominence all this is getting outside of TMZ-world. Given that one of the biggest movie stars of the last 25 years is involved, you'd expect it to be front-page news, wouldn't you?

Tiger Woods, on the other hand, stuck his dick in a bunch of porn-stars and waitresses, and that shit was never out of the papers for...how long? Not to mention that his wife beat his ass. The media en masse picked over every aspect of his decline with a mixture of sanctimony and barely-disguised glee for weeks and weeks and weeks, until he was pretty much browbeaten into making a humiliating public apology for his transgressions.

    Just sayin'.

    Hey,

Pardon my saying so, but having an automobile accident which resulted in woman's death, and fleeing the scene, didn't irreparably damage Senator Edward Kennedy's career (other than precluding him from becoming president). The same can be said of Brett Favre (known philanderer) who remains relatively popular, Woody Allen (pedophile with his stepdaughter), Marv Albert (the biter), Bill O'Reilly (sexual harasser), and Don Imus (who, despite his racist comments, is back on the air). The public response to such misconduct depends on "The Skin You're In." It's not exactly cut-and-dry, though, as shown by Marion Barry, Kobe Bryant, Bill Cosby, Muhammad Ali, and other minorities who rose back to prominence after missteps.

    Peace,

    Big Stacks from Kakalak

his talent agency of 30 years dropped him. that may be the nail in the coffin for him getting work again, but it may not be the dirt on the coffin...

Did any of the people in Big Stacks list get dropped by their agent?

Stacks list is interesting, because some of those people, like Woody Allen, never even apologized or acknowledged they had done wrong, yet their careers continues.

I thought apocalypto was ok. I???d see another gibson flick if the premise intrigued me. Crazy bastard, or not. To make money in entertainment, its not what they write about you, just how much. Ike would have been long forgotten without the legend.

It's been prominently featured in every paper I've read over the last few days

Personally. I don't think anybody on Stack's list is analogous. Ted Kennedy had an enormously powerful apparatus behind him, Woody Allen is far more popular and never threatened to kill anybody and the rest are just run-of-the-mill adulterers.

Also, this is Mel's third flame-out (at least) - he's toast.

    Hey Bro Stacks-

Has this been reported in the news or is it just something that's common knowledge to folks in the Green Bay / Milwaukee area? I don't remember hearing that one.
