Possibly the worst way to resolve a hostage situation.

This is captured from a current affairs show in local TV station in Gunagzhou, China regarding a recent hostage situation. Please forward to the 4:45 point to see how the situation is being resolved.

The gist of this clip is as follow: a girl was take hostage at knife by a middel age man. The situation carried on for some time in an ATM booth with the male claiming that someone has put a contract on his head, and that he has been escaping from different province and now he's being cornered. The TV crew was there to capture the situation since the perpetrator specificly asked to speak with a TV crew. Officers on site attempted to use the TV crew as a distraction, but their attempt was failed.

Then out of nowhere came a female police officer to deliver a bottle of supposedly spiked Coke and what happened in 4:45 mark of the clip would need to be seen to believed.

According to the report, the hostage only suffered minor injuries.

    Since the dude keep yelling someone has put a price on his head, I could not help but wonder that female cop was there to carry out the hit as she was more concern about him dead than getting the girl out of harm's way.

    For real life is cheap. guess that shows you that being live on tv won't save you from being killed.
