hey all, sorry to the moderators if this is in the wrong forum. wasn't sure if it was a classified, a 'want', or an announcement...!

anyhow, to all the old chicago strutters out there you may remember that ground lift mag used to slang wax and hold basement sales every so often. well the market crashed and our wax slanging went on hiatus. but now we're back with a new mission:

a proper record show, at a decent hour, within city limits.

we've teamed up with the chicago urban art society (http://chicagourbanartsociety.tumblr.com/) to produce this bi-monthly event at their high traffic storefront gallery space in pilsen's gallery district (2229 s. halsted). we're hoping to take advantage of warm weather while it's still around, so the 1st show is happening kinda quickly.

we'll have a few local record shops holding down some table space but would like to supplement that with indie dealers and private collectors. a few specifics can be found below, but please email me at trew @ groundliftmedia.com from addt'l info about our promotion and mktg plans.

minor details:
date/time - july 25th, 2010 1pm-6pm (9am-noon vendor load-in, 11-1pm early bird)
location - Chicago Urban Art Society 2229 S. Halsted St. Chicago, IL
vendor fee - $25 for a 6'x6' space. table not included but can be rented for a nominal charge.
general public admission - $5 / $10 early bird. all proceeds go towards CUAS art programs
