{creeper}I kept up with her room-mate drama like it was Young and the Restless.
What happended to them? The one who wouldn't do the dishes?{creeper}
We graduated and moved out of that place. They were great girls, but we had a nasty kitchen. We're all doing fine, so the dish situation didn't retard our transition into "adulthood," fortunately.
almond butter has no flavour, but Almond is sweet.
AK and Edith still post here so we're not the last two hold-outs.
I miss Miss Kyle.
All this except Almond Butter. I have to eat it now because peanut butter has started to bother me, and almond butter has a distinct subtle flavor, kinda like a sweet wheat flaveur. It's growing on me.

I think my palate has been ruined by years of hot sauce addiction? I haven't had any luck with almond butter...but I do love roasted almonds tossed with tamari and marzipan is like heaven on the taste buds.
Love & respect for Almond (and for all the ladies in the house)
from breezy Brazil.

I can't remember the exact thread where it happened, but I do recall a definite "I had no idea..." moment when I realised Almond was a girl. I find that she and the other women of the Strut exercise the kind of civilising influence over this place that we could use a little more of. I am most assuredly pro-Almond.

yes hey here less but still here. just working a lot and enjoying life and the weather.
i wondered where Selina went though.
if this thread is about almonds let me say i like them!
and if it's about Almond i like her too! she might be a little green sure, but she's a big sweetie and she pours her heart out at times. even when strutters get all walter sobchak on her she's dignified.
i used to buy tamari almonds but i now make them at home with a douse of tamari here and i a light pan toasting there and a bit of fleur de sel.
i also love chocolate covered almonds.
and sweet almond oil is a wonderful hair conditioner.
I can't lie, I do see chubby baby arms and legs and want to bite down.
Not hard, but just to feel that freshly baked bread between my teeth.
But even I know these marzipan babies are twisted.

But if I eat too many, she says I'll give myself a nut allergy or a stomachache.

I have ridiculously thick curly hair - I learned my lesson fast about home conditioning with oils...they never wash out properly.
I do use almond oil on my skin in the harsh winter though.
These babies were made from marzipan. Almonds made it possible.

Also, do you guys say it "AWL-mond" or "AL-mond?"
