These two records always seem to be up past 11 when I get in the ride after my girl has been driving solo. Makes me scramble like an old ass man to dead the volume. We have like 1000 cd's in the car and these two always seem to be in the deck. Kinda surprises me and kinda doesn't.

    Funny to see this one listed here. I remember when I bought this way back when it was originally released. I was riding back from the record store with this girl and put my new CD on. The song came on that has a skit with a prank caller threatening a freaked out woman - I think its "4 better or 4 worse." Girl looked at me like "what the fuck are you making me listen to?"

    The girl I was dating circa 1997-98 went through a loooong stretch of making me play "Midnight Marauders" every time we would get it on. At some point I started getting really tired of hearing Phife Dawg's voice whenever I was doing the best thing in the world, although her hotness and my being in love with her helped me dealth with it.
