Go!You must post audio, whether it be from youtube or from your own mind ya knowMe first. probably more well-known for the "Daaaamn!" usage, but I always thought the Scarface track was hard as nails. Anyone know what the organ sample is that goes over it?
I didnt run out and look for the record after hear this, but I liked their take on G Funk w/ this sample.I dont know its impact on Souf artists or overall Hip Hop. I think we need to add some notes to this before it turns into " my favorite sample". How was it "important" to u and the Souf.

A great Southern sample makes you feel like you are outdoors in the South surrounded by good food and a grip of smiling people. Using Al Green for Playa Playa was probably the most important sample ever used in the lineage of Southern production as it perfectly captured a sound that was just beginning to differentiate itself from West Coast g-rap. There was a spill-over between say what the Geto Boys were doing on Till Death Do Us Part and what say Comptons Most Wanted and Spice 1 were doing out West. But then by way of Now I Feel Ya and then most notably Playa Playa, the South began to run with its own version of what was/is basically Cadillac music. Outkast dropped their first album right up within that time frame. 8ball and MJG and Three 6 Mafia started popping up. DJ Screw certainly had his influence as well. But once all of that random activity really coagulated into its own distinct Southern thing...it's been over for boom bap ever since.

What's the No Limit tune that samples this? Something by Kane & Abel?
