wanted: nice 'big bird' portable

when I say 'nice' i mean 'in good working condition'. every time i try to buy one of these online, i get it and the motor's messed up or it spins weird and sounds all drunk. So i'd like to get one from someone who knows how they're supposed to work and can ensure that it works well for me.I would rather pay cash but would also be willing to work on a trade. It's for my lil niece- I think she's old enough now to be intro'd to records. For the children, y'all! thanks + peace...
