woke up to a bad smell coming out of the A/C vents...A/C had burnt out because of flooding. Went out to the back house and saw a water line about a foot up on the wall outside. I had a ton of records on the floor because I am still waiting on the douchebag lazy fuck of a contractor to finish the wall inside from the burglary damage...all of my sales crates on the bottom inch or so...tons of my personal stash soaked...luckily plastic sleeves saved some raers miraculously...Afro Rock, OG Meters (thank the lord) but some nice records got wet.stay tuned for a sale of records with the bottom inch of the jackets jacked up, but as I got to them quickly after the water hit them, the vinyl appears to be ok...but if you dont mind some wrinkly covers, you will find some bargains...

    been there; done that

make sure a {float/ safe-t switch} is installed at the auxiliary drain hole on the coil per code so this doesn't happen again. good luck.
