Maryland Film Festival 2010 (May 6-9 in downtown Baltimore) has:--the documentaries WHEEDLE'S GROOVE (Seattle soul/funk) and UNTIL THE LIGHT TAKES US (Norwegian black metal) with the directors presenting--the Japanese noise/improv performance film WE DON'T CARE ABOUT MUSIC ANYWAY...also of possible interest, two indie musicians picking favorite films and hosting 35mm screenings:--BILL CALLAHAN (formerly known as SMOG) picks John Cassavetes' FACES--DAN DEACON picks Paul Verhoeven's TOTAL RECALLInfo on all screenings here:http://www.md-filmfest.com/films.cfm
