    I don't want to bring up negative BS but it baffles me about how much hate was thrown around in the that thread "worst rapper" and GURU being thrown under the bus!! Those that dissed him with no shame what do you have to say now???
    And I believe Freddie Foxx threw a little hate towards GURU as well!!

    Rest In Power. Gang Starr was one of my greatest influences both as a musician and, as corny as it may sound, a "digger"/collector/record fiend what have you. They defined hip-hop for a generation.

    damn. Gangstarr was me throughout my youth and even into college and adult hood. RIP

    even bumped into the dude after hard to earn at a broadway sneaker spot in the west village. I could not remain calm. I must have been 15 or 16. Was even cool enough to wait while I ran into Nobody Beats the Wiz to buy a disposable camera to take a photo.

    R.I.P. What can I say? I was raised on Gang Starr, basically my whole teens, this was it. Truely sad day.
