    ME! I'm crazy large, yo!

Also, J-Rocc is originally from Bridgeport, so there's that. And Egon's from CT as well.

    Isn't there a Connecticut rap/hip hop comp? I think there's a hardcore and garage/punk one also.

If you want a real head-scratcher, try naming anything worthwhile from Westchester.

Yeah, Egon put it together and released it on Stones Throw. It was heavy on the "I said rip, rap, the rippity rap, rip-rap-rippity-roo" steez.

John Mayer can go to hell. And when Connecticut people say "hell," what they mean is "New Jersey."

Money Earnin Mount Vernon and Now Rule(New Rochelle) are in Westchester County.

Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth - Heavy D & The Boys - Brand Nubian.....

    whatever - no hijack....Connecticut

    So....

    Long Island = Billy Joel
    New Jersey = Bruce Springsteen

    Connecticut = Michael Bolton

One of the most sublime LPs in my collection just happens to come from Conneticut:

The Vatican Commandos were from Connecticut, I think.

EDIT: And Horace Silver was born there.

    ....and it's borderline unlistenable.

"If only", says the guy sitting in New London. Maybe I should bump some Cassie right now.

Yeah ... CT hasn't produced much.

For the jazz dudes, there's Thomas Chapin. Or William Hooker, if you're into outsider drummers. You can add Dooley O that ever so massive hip hop list.

    Yep .. not much.

Shit, I grew up in Fairfield--at least you don't have the stain of John Mayer on your town.

I actually grew up in Wethersfield. The only people that came out of there were Cousin Larry (the boring one) on Perfect Strangers and Annabella Sciorra (Angie in Jungle Fever).

On the acting side, Justin Long and Peter Saarsgard are from Fairfield, and John Ratzenberger is from Bridgeport.

For ballers, Charles "Blocked Four Times" Smith is a Bridgeport guy. Rob Dibble's from Bridgeport, too, but I don't give a F*ck about baseball.
