Rackmount RAID help.

I'm starting to do an increasing amount of HD video editing these days and with hard drives the cheapest they have ever been, I'm looking at getting a RAID system both for backup and speed purposes. I know this isn't the BEST place to ask but I can't stand most of the tech sites out there nor do I trust the users.I'm looking for, sometime over the next year:- Firewire 800 or USB 2.0 Connectivity. I run everything off my Macbook Pro and do not have an expresscard slot for external eSATA- 4-10 drives. I'd like to run RAID 10 to have reliability and speed. The dual-parity models of RAID 6 are kind of confusing to me.- Rackmount. This is kind of essential as I like to keep things neat.Can I do something like 2-4 TB with these specs for under a grand? I've looked at stuff like Glyph but I feel like if I can find the right controller/enclosure I can do this for much less.I know there are other video/audio/nerdy people here. Halp.
