Access to archive music footage from the 70s & 80s

hi all, I know I've been mostly absent from the strut for a while and one of the reasons has been trying to do some things out in the world. I'm helping a friend put together a short film about black female rockers and trying to find people or companies that would hold access to classic footage of performances by artists, I know there are people here with connects to wgbh and perhaps other houses of footage I'm hoping that some of these folks can guide me in the right direction.And in case anyones wondering I'm doing this all for free there is no profit being made by anyone at this point. This is a passion project for a good friend of mines and those who can help I will gladly put you in contact with her to eliminate me as the middleman

i know mr chop did the soundtrack to "sex galaxy", which is all based of old recycled material, i assume mostly from old movies but could be from archives aswell.

you should ask those guys if they know any places for black female rockers..

So, if this is strictly made up of old footage, what is Puma Swede doing on the poster :P

Is it good? I'd like to hear Chop's music for it. I like his style.
