I'm still looking to the Strut for suitable music should the Tories win. A piece of music that seriously and maturely engages with the sheer calamity of the situation, music that hints at the consequences, but, and this will be necessary after a few stiff drinks, also promises something better for the future.
I also thought that maybe something slighty before my time, perhaps from the dark days of punk, might sum things up nicely. A lot of the best music was made under Tory governments, so maybe that's an upside to the worst case scenario.

In that case maybe Mr Weller had it covered

ok, im back home. Amsterdams streets full of young drunk English wankers who probably have no fucking clue whatsoever that there is a national election in thir own country.
BBC on, Labour down 95 seats?
whoops.
Lib Dems at 60-something? thats a massive fail right?
The dude running against Gordon Brown doing the fist pump has pretty damn funny.
That guy's probably been the highlight of the hours of coverage I've watched. I particularly enjoyed it when Brown had to skip shaking his hand as one look confirmed this guy wasn't going to break hi salute for no man.
Need to find out what's he's fighting for. I want to sign up.
Labour & Lib Dems to bury their differences and form a coalition simply to keep out the Tories? Clegg already said he wasn't interested in working with Brown. But Labour are the only option if Clegg wants to see some electoral reform, right?
Anybody here have problems voting? Will there be re-votes in all areas that people couldn't vote, or only areas where they think the result might have been different?

WTF
That real?
In my worst nightmare, the Tories will form a coalition with the DUP to gain a slender majority.
Somehow I don't think this will be as simple as waking up tommorow to Gordon Brown/David Cameron being PM.
nothing like a bunch of whinging poms to brighten up my day.
lets see ya sort this mess out suckers!
what a fucking choice you poor bastards are faced with.
Going with Lib Dem. Funniest on-line poster campaign.
American wankers usually say the UK!!
Younger UK wankers plump for Australia or NZ
Older ones might slum it in Cyprus or Malta.
Criminal element congregate in southern Spain.
Most likely all will come back sometime soon, albeit with a good tan.
At any rate they won't be as white as Harvey
C'mon son. Americans ain't trying to skip the pond. They lazy.

Fuck Cameron.

3-0 to labour at the moment.
had to laugh at the chants of "who are ya, who are ya" at the sunderland central declaration...
I know.....It's all just talk anyway.
can't believe how bad the liberal democrats did though.
