Also just got Jocy's "Dans Les 10 Premiers" the other month. More 60s bizness that's basically a funky "Taxman" ripoff.

Nycole & Frederic's "Je T'aime Une Fois, Deux Fois..." is a cool midtempo Mamas & Papas kinda thing but much heavier & (kinda) funkier than M&P ever were.

France Gall got heat - try "Chanson Indienne" for Franco-Indian crossover stoner funk.

Most of this stuff is more 60s than funky, but will work IN DA CLUB nonetheless.

I got (for free) the one @ LES TR??TEAUX, this record is not funky at all.
