Fandango? Birthday Present Related

I have to get bday presents for my 2 nieces and their mom on the east coast. (12, 14, 55)I was thinking gift card to a movie theater. Should I get them a Fandango card? Same cost? Just show the card?Ideas?Peace, Dan
