Mike the 2600's "Heavy Session" so good. When does Vol 2 drop mang?
From the site itself, taking it way back: DJ Marco's "Sex Institute" DJ Day "Unorthodox" Hi-C "Seasonal Revolutions" Kojack "Nothing Too Rare" Sermad "Psychadelic Library" The Man "Bollywood's Big Score" Agent 45 "Georgia Clay" Deepstank "Negocios Sucios"
Gaff & Factor - "Trip Beyond" Cosmo - "Still Good" Fred Fades - the latest psych business Soulman's latest Funky16corners' Beatles covers mix lots of others I can't think of just now
Thanks! I forgot about that one. However, the one on the page is only my part. Even then, it's more of a variety of Tex/Cali-Mex, Cuban, Spanish language pop-garage stuff. Guzzo's is more of a real-deal Mexican rock/funk affair.
By the way, age, I didn't know you were "real world" buddies with my dude J***e. You two should make a collab mix as well.
Yeah, that mix is super underrated[/b]. I love the selection.
By the way, age, I didn't know you were "real world" buddies with my dude J***e. You two should make a collab mix as well. Hahahaha, Yeah, he is the homie! It would be an interesting colaboration if J***e and I did a mix. Be fun, Might have to hit him up on that
Forgot about that one. Definitely heavy rotation status in my player. The whole mix kills it. San Quinn/Indeep blend is my fave part.
I wish we had DJs like B.Cause around my way. Judging from all the mixes/remixes I've heard since I've been on this board, this man is my kind of selector.
Wow, I didn't think anyone here had checked that out. Thanks, I'm glad somebody was feeling it. It's hella old (from 2003), but I like the way it flows. I need to stop procrastinating and make some new mixes.
I would have to say my fave is Marco's "Honey Machine" mix...it was great to me because I had recently dug up my first France Gall, Bardot, Dutronc records within a few weeks before that mix being posted so I had this intrest in that kind of music but had no idea how to go about seeking out what other artists were worth seeking out...then that mix appeared, the timing of which couldnt have been more perfect! Also I was headed to Europe very shortly after I heard the mix and it helped me out in acquiring the good stuff...also I made a new friend from that mix...viva la soulstrut!
I still have a disc of that mix and listen to it...great stuff
Dude thanks! I'm working on a new boogie mix, which is proving difficult since I'm gonna do most of it live (my dj skills are lacking related). On the mix tip I've really been feeling, that last DJ Om mix and the Neville C Brazilian mixes.
