Hi-Wondering if there are any video dudes around here? if so:On ripping DVDs on aa PC: Using AoA ripper, having video/audio synch problems, audio is slightly behind and its infuriating! How can I get a full length DVD into a format that has decent resolution (meaning viewable) and is less than 1 GB? Also, How can I convert small Quicktime movies I have shot on my still camera into a format that I can burn onto a DVD? Any help greatly appreciated!

most video editing software gives you a little more control over where you compress to save file space and what format you output to. Try ripping to an uncompressed dv or mpg file then in vegas or premier pro output to whatever you like, and muck around with the compression settings. This would also work converting your qt's to mpeg.

PM me if you want any help in those programs, or any further explanation of what i mean
