Indie Retailers: REPOST

Reposted ...We are finally about to release our second album... again totally independent, our own label, no distro partners outside of NZ / Aust etc. Stylistically it's kind of odd I guess - dub, soul & lo-fi house jumbled up together (http://www.fatfreddysdrop.com/whats_up/flash_back). Certainly not on the hiphop vibe - though Babu did sample a track from our first album for this...

Our previous release was pretty popular here in NZ and we've made good inroads into Australia and Europe and do have a growing number of fans in the US - mainly West Coast it would seem.So we're looking for friendly faces in the retail world who might be interested in working with us to start a web of distribution (in the US in particular). Any contacts or leads would be appreciated.Pleeeez.

this are the best news I heard since some time!
I listened to your last album at least 1000 times and it is one
of my alltime favourites. It totally blew my mind when it was released.
That said, I'll now go over to your website and buy your album digitally and then call my record dealer to preorder it on vinyl.

The cover art is beautiful again, I love it. Is there any chance to buy it as a poster?

Can't wait to play out "Shiverman" at our clubnight, I guess i will go down a storm.

  • i was really annoyed when i missed you guys on your UK tour, i had just got based on a true story then and was like "i HAVE TO see these guys live," i hope the new album goes well for you guys, i'll definitely cop, people need to stop sleeping on FFD.
