Afternoon folks,Just found out I'm after getting a job in Jakarta and will be there for ther next 12 months at least. As there is only so much you can learn from the web / travel guides etc, and I don't know anyone whose ever spent more than a few days there, can anyone give me a bit more info on the city ie, gigs, records, places to avoid, how to not get myself bodied or their own personal expierences there.Cheers in advance.

    My friend used to travel to Singapore a lot for raers. Indonesian weather and natural disasters are rough on records. Good luck!
