    I have this record somewhere.. I remember really liking it, but I couldn't give you a good description off the top of my head. I think I remember it being really nice, mellow latin-tinged jazz. But I could be totally wrong on that.

    Somehow I managed to find my copy in my giant, unorganized pile of records over here.

    Here's the title track, which I like the best:

    Mystic Beauty

    It's the most mellow song on the album by far. The whole album is pretty good, though.

    How would you categorize the album as a whole? Funky jazz or more mellow?

    rekkid is yer typical HME / MIRA style west cost 1960's indie rekkid. no funky. just mellow and uptempo touch of modal latin and instrumental flair.

    One of My fave LA private Jazz LP's.My cut is "Sir Lady".I have not found that record in some time.If your not feeling it, you got FAT trade over this way!
