iTunes MP3 consolidation program?

You know how people use iTunes to split mixes into individual tracks? I'm actually looking something that works in reverse. Like if I have a mix that's imported into my iTunes can I somehow consolidate them into one MP3 (making said mix one MP3...) Any idea? If I can do this easy and not use Pro Tools that would be great.

I thought itunes could join tracks as well. I've done it before, I don't know if it actually creates a single mp3 or just just plays them as a continuous mix, tho. Haven't done it in years.

Well you can consolidate a mix into one track if you're ripping it from a cd.

select all tracks on cd/advanced/join tracks/import cd

Not from a playlist of mp3's though since it's a compressed format. It'll have to be converted back to aiff/wav before you can re-rip as one track. You will loss quality also.
