I'm taking the summer to travel Europe after a long spell of hard luck - lost job, apartment and girlfriend in a span of 3 months. I've never been over seas but have always gained a sense of culture through foreign film & music. I plan on experiencing as many countries as possible (Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Greece for starters) or as long as I stretch my funding.I'll be leaving the summer in Brooklyn behind in search of some inspiration & sonic enlightenment. Does anyone have any suggestions of some down low spots not to be missed? All I have lined up as of now is checking out the Northern Soul circuit in the UK courtsey of a distant friend, but looking to check for some scenes elsewhere.Any suggestions would be gladly taken.

    You may want to consider retitling this thread to something people with European knowledge would recognize scrolling thru, like "Euro Strutters: Good hot spots in Europe?" or something.
