Please to educate me on this band. They have a surprisingly extensive Wiki post for their (one?) album. I became aware of them when checking up on one of my favorite bands (Broadcast) and it was noted the musical similarities. I feel slightly embarrassed to say i can't recall ever hearing this band before.Terrific music?or TURDriffic music?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_United_States_of_America_(band)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_United_States_of_America_(album)b/wtake this to weirdrecordsthatsuck.com?

a couple of cuts are totally play-out-able n'all.
'tailor man' was on good ole "psyche party" cos, no true?
Yes it was, Abby. Man, I forgot all about "Psyche Party." That was the sureshot...
But back off of Dorothy, she don't want you Jon. She's all mine.
The cd re-release insert has some good info from Byrd. From what i gathered, he wasnt really a rock musician to begin with. The art movement he was involved in exposed him to the idea of starting a band. They did a few live shows and the album never really promoted well. I dont know the whole story, but interesting stuff. Cloud Song is rad, and I really like "Coming Down" too.
What's "The American Metaphysical Circus" like?
I like that record. Or at least what I can remember of it.
If you've not heard the U.S.A. record yet, prepare to find Broadcast a lot less interesting.
