    $25-$50

Most of the recent copies sold online have been $25-$30.

It was going for a little more a few years ago, but has cooled off.

why is the cover black and white? i thought those p shaped swirly things were usually colorful.

i'm not sure, was wondering the same thing myself. think the black and white might be the promo. either that or theres 2 pressings

  • spelunkspelunk 3,400 Posts
Three different pressings, forget which is first. B&W seems the most common. One of the tax scam discography sites has the info I think.

Good album. Love that version of "Uphill Peace Of Mind" - I think it's better than the Kid Dynamite version.

ok so TSG/LPG were released in '76, this is from '78. TSG was a tax scam, LPG was Lloyds label, but what was Graham International?

Graham international is also a tax scam label, right? Isn't the 2nd press of 1619 B.A.B. on Graham, or am I mistaken?

Lloyd Price was involved in all of these labels.

this tax scam stuff is really interesting to me. did Price ever get busted?

    Not to my knowledge.

Don King had a hand in these as well, and was indicted on tax fraud & conspiracy, and acquitted, although I don't know what if any role these labels played in the indictment.

There were major mob ties with most of this shit, which might explain why nobody's ever been busted over it.

Was his label DON a tax scam outfit as well? Was Don really into music, or was it just a front to give him a "legit" business/ launder ca$h?

I guess Morris Levy had a hand in some of these labels too?
